Stand with feet parallel and about 8" apart,
knees slightly bent,
weight forward,
pelvis loose,
back straight.
The arms should hang loosely at the sides.
Rapidly bend and straighten the knees so that a bouncing motion is produced without the feet going off the ground.
This action should produce a shaking in the whole body that affects the breathing so that it sounds like a dog panting.
Continue this exercise for about a minute, then rest with knees still bent and breathe easily.
• Did your whole body shake with the exercise?
• Was your breathing harmonized with the motion?
• Did you allow your upper body to lean backward, pulling you out of your feet even though your knees were bent?
